Rail Tec Arsenal is not intended to make a profit but operates on a purely break-even basis. We are an international research and testing centre and as such are committed to strict neutrality and independence. All our customers are offered the same services on the same terms. Whether tramcar or bus, whether truck or high-speed train - there is no preferential treatment. Customer data and test results are treated in strictest confidence. Needless to say that all our members of staff are committed to absolute confidentiality.

Rail Tec Arsenal is an international centre of excellence for thermal passenger comfort, continuously extending its specific expertise in this field. Along with certification tests and experiments in the climatic wind tunnel, we also offer consulting services, studies and contract developments in the fields of vehicle air conditioning and thermal comfort.

A high level of facility utilisation allows us to offer attractive testing prices. We have a wide range of customers and can thus easily compensate for fluctuations in demand in individual sectors. Our key customers include rail vehicle manufacturers and railway operators along with commercial vehicle manufacturers (trucks and busses). In addition to rail and road vehicles, we also perform tests on cable cars, power supply equipment, signal installations, aircraft components, facade elements and all other technical devices that must function reliably under extreme climatic conditions.
